What should I take with for my day at the Spa?
If you are planning on visiting a Day Spa, then you need to be prepared for a day full of pampering and relaxation. However the question is, what do you need to take with? It is usually best to call the Spa ahead and enquire with staff members as to what will be supplied on the day. Most Day Spa’s offer Robes / Gowns and slippers, however certain Day Spa’s request that you bring your own along.
The most important item that needs to be taken to a Spa is a swimming costume and a spare pair of under garments. You will need your costume in order to make usage of the mineral pools and Jacuzzi’s. Before your day ends, you are permitted to have a shower, so your spare under garments will keep you feeling fresh and clean on your journey home. If you are attending a Spa that has an outside area, then it would be advisable to take sunscreen with for your in-between sessions and especially if the pools or Jacuzzi’s are based outside.
If your are only attending the spa for a couple of hours, then you need to ensure that you eat before you arrive and consider having one or two snacks available should you become hungry. If you are considering a half day package or a full day package, then you should be provided with a meal. Please be advised that most Day Spa’s do not offer fatty and greasy meals, the meals on offer are usually healthy and filling. If you have any dietary commitments or special meal plans, then it would be ideal to call the Spa ahead of time in order for them to cater for your needs.
Remember if you are ever unsure of what exactly to take with or have any other questions, to call the Day Spa and confirm.
